I had only planned on keeping this livejournal going to read back on my university days and the happy times that I have had since becoming a young adult. I'd like to think that I did manage to update with most of the major fun events that took place over the last three years that I have been using this, and it only seems right that I mark the end. Though, it's not quite the end yet, it is in sight and I want it to come as quick as it can. I'm not entirely happy here anymore and I am ready to move on to the next part of life; I do feel that I am stuck in a rut just waiting for my real 'grown-up' life to begin. I wish I wasn't going to leave with this lost feeling that I have but I can't see things changing over the remaining seven weeks.
How I'll remember each year:
Year 1: Maths Club
Year 2: The beginning of the Tim Fan Club
Year 3: Getting a summer internship
Year 4: Term one-Team Extreme. And the rest of the year was final year stress and wanting to move on.
Some up coming future events:
May 13th-Last day in the lab ever!
May 30th-QMRM exam
June 12th-QMMA exam
June 17th-Police Concert in Manchester (I may just head up there after my last exam)
June 19th-Final Fling
June 20th-Results
Possibly a trip to the Lake District, sometime round here.
June 22nd-My first real grown up birthday, 22! Though it doesn't seem worth celebrating as most people have made plans already which involve everyone being all over the country. So no hiring the Shields Ferry for a party as originally planned.
Move out of Royal Leamington Spa, sometime near the end of June.
June 26th-Dad's 50th. Celebrations are yet to be decided, I think he doesn't want to celebrate anymore
Early July-Find somewhere to live in London.
July 14th-Graduation
July 17th-Work begins in New York
Mid September-Move back to the country and work in the city living the life of a yuppie
I was telling Tim the other day that pretty much my whole life everything has always been down South and my geography has been rather naff. When I move to London, everything will be up North and as Tim said my world will quite literally have been turned upside down. Hopefully, it won't be too bad.
So, that's it really. Special thanks to everyone that has ever read this livejournal. Don't think there are too many of you left now that still read this, but I'd like to thank you for sticking with me and making comments, and enjoyable entries of your own for me to read.
Take Care.

This afternoon, Jax, Sara, Nadine and I went to play Bingo. The four of us were so incredibly nervous when we were going in, and we had every reason to be. There was much confusion about which way to put our newly aquired 'Majestic Bingo' cards into the machine despite the picture. We had no idea which books we were supposed to be getting and pretty much stood out for all the wrong reasons.
The Lady behind the Checkout:"Do you want to pay for your lates now?"
Me:*confused look*"I have no idea what that means.."
After much confusion and little understanding we went and found a table; and were amused with our snazzy stationary organiser equipped with all the bingo essentials. Once we had finished amusing ourselves with stationary the nerves soon hit when we saw how fast the other games were going whilst waiting for ours to begin. It was then that it became very apparent that none of us really knew the rules of the game.
Nadine to a employee of Majestic Bingo:"When are we suppose to shout Bingo?"
Not so helpful lady:"What?! Do you really not know!"
We were all getting pretty worried about our game that was about to commence soon and I don't think I had ever been so relieved to hear them play Lulu's 'Shout' before our session started, to give us all a chance to calm down and work out what was going on.
Luckily, they were a few other helpful people there to explain it all to us.
I got stuck trying to open my book for the first game and so missed half the numbers. Nadine didn't realise that the numbers were in any sort of order till about half way through. Sara and Jax seemed to get the hang of it pretty quickly. And we all picked up the pace when we realised that the numbers actually come on the screens before the caller announces them.
At the intermission, the blokey that helped us out when we first arrived came and checked in on us. We had a nice little chat with him and I asked why it was called Bingo if no one actually shouts Bingo. He was well funny when he started telling us that lots of young people come nowadays and Sara looked around with the funniest expression on her face at the room full of grannies.
Anyways, sadly none of us won anything but we had pretty good afternoon.

Sara and I, being the classy ladies that we are, went and got some McFlurry's and sat around South Shields for just over an hour discussing all sorts after our stressful bingo'ing. Can't believe that the next time I'll get to see her is the end of June if I can make back before she goes away.
I had a drive along the coast with my Dad this morning, and it was lovely to look out to sea on the crystal clear morning and the sea looked so clean and sparkly. I really am going to miss living right on the coast, and looking out my bedroom window to the endless sea which when it's dark just looks like it's the end of civilisation at the bottom of the street as that's where the street lights end.
The other day, I also lost a 50p bet with my mother in a shop, and the guy at the shop that gave us the correct answer wanted in on any future bets. But sadly, I didn't have any more money on me to lose to them both.
After I came out of one shop with my mother there was a brief moment where neither of us could remember where we had parked the car. 45 seconds, which seemed like a lifetime, where we just aimlessly wandering around in the hope of stumbling across the car.
Also, someone anonymously donated £500 within 10minutes of my mum e-mailing some friends and family the link for the team 'Just Giving' page for the Great North Run.

Tonight, we went to the cinema to see Shine A Light, and I loved it! I loved the behind the scenes footage, I loved the footage from when they were young and I loved seeing the songs that I had seen performed live being loved. I was so excited when the folks in the audience at the concert started Woo hoo'ing at the intro to 'Sympathy For The Devil' just as everyone had done at the concert that I had attended. And again with the Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Wooo's in 'Brown Sugar' with the arm waving and everything.
Though I have to say in terms of a documentary it was poor and more just a film of the concert in New York. I would have like to have seen some more behind the scenes footage and amusing clips of interviews from when they were just new on the scene. The old footage is just so brilliantly funny.
That said, it was a brilliant film of The Stones. The duet with Jack Black of 'Loving Cup' was great! I didn't think much to the duet with Christina Aguilera though. It was great to see a live performance of some of the less well known songs too, of which they did many. The two hours went only too quickly and I was a little disappointed that they didn't actually perform 'Shine A Light' at the concert as I love that song and they didn't do it at the concert that I went to. It was a throughly enjoyable film of a great performance, I want to watch it again. Actually, if I'm wanting stuff, I want to go back on stage with them for a concert.

A few weeks ago I was having some trouble getting to sleep and so at stupid o'clock decided to have a play with Windows Movie Maker which I have never used before. I have to say it was actually quite fun and I give it two thumbs fresh for some novice video editing. There were a few things that I would have liked to been able to do, but without reading the help there was no obvious way of doing it. Anyways, I thought I'd share my first 'movie' with you, which is a collection of vids of some uni friends that could join the circus should the whole degree thing not work out. It's not brilliant but I still find it entertaining to watch.

On Friday afternoon we had our sixth form reunion back at school. I had rather mixed feelings about it and is it got closer to the event, I began to dread it more. It actually turned out to be a really fun afternoon, even if it was a little weird being back at school at first. Most of the teachers that taught me are no longer at the school, but I still talked to a few members of staff. Anyways, lots happened but here is some of the stuff that sticks out for me:
- Marie and I turning up late and missing the Headmasters speech.
- Mark:"Robbie, do you remember challenge Natasha?"
Robert:"*laughs* Yeah, though it wasn't so much of a challenge just a nicer name for bullying Natasha."
Me:"I didn't really like the ones involving the clamp of justice." - Doron giving me a hug and being nice to me to start off with, and then returning back to normal pretty quickly.
- Feeling really old when I met Mr Wilson's son and being able to say "Ah, the last time I saw him he was only this big.."
- Robert and I being highly dissappointed that Mr Camm wasn't there (even though Mr Camm never actually taught me).
- The uber maths crew feeling a little sad in the heart that Stone Cold Steve (Mr Watkins) didn't come along.
- Robert not wanting to talk to Mr Kenan as he wasn't part of the original maths line up.
- Talking to Matt, which was pretty much just the two of us giggling-I think we set each other off and just can't stop giggling at everything. Then saying that we would go and talk to Mr Merritt but not actually doing it in the end. I wasn't his biggest fan and was scared that he wouldn't remember me, so it would have been just plain akward. Also, Matt is defo going to be in London for the next two years-hurrah :)!
- Being let loose to wander around the school.
- About 10 of us having far too much fun at the new theatre in the performing arts centre-It was brilliant! When I walked in Saunders, Phil Bolland, Robert and Mark Reach were on the two floors at the back with all the technical equpiment playing with the lights and trying to play a CD. Chris Mac, Doron and Lighty had ran upto the private viewing balcony and were just generally shouting across. We stayed there for a while playing with all the technical equipment and I remember at one point being in the viewing baclony and Doron and Lighty were trying to throw pennies at Kenny. There was lots of randomness here.
Lighty being the only person sat down in the theatre;"Doron, I saved you a seat and one for you too Natasha." - Being highly entertained by the LCD TV's that seem to be all over the school that weren't really doing anything aprat from showing the date. (They weren't there back in our day)
- In the sixth form block being on the balcony with a handful of people looking down at some of the gos' pos' boy's being sat were they used to sit, and all of us realising that we hadn't really changed that much in the 4 years since we left school.
- Going to my old locker and finding that it only had a pair of shoes in.
James:"Try them on, see if they fit." - Lighty putting a bin lid on Kenny's head. It looked so funny as it was one of those bins with a flappy lid were his face was.
- Kunal really wanting to go the library-weird boy!
- All of the reminiscing.
- Saunders:"It's ok we can't get detention now for messing the school up, just jail."
- A trip to the swimming pool and finding that Robert and Phil were already there and frisbee'ing all the floats and stuff into the pool. It was so funny and we stayed till pretty much everything was in the pool. A fun first lesson for the kids when they get back after the holidays.
- Robert finding some detention slips and giving me a detention.
Kunal:"Where did you get those from? Or did you already have them?"
Robert:"Yes, I already had them! Where do you think I got them from."

I haven't really done a proper update since being back up North, but so far it has been like most holidays doing some coursework, shopping and meeting lots of people for cups of tea in town. It's been pretty good and I have enjoyed being able to relax and not really doing anything, I may start some revison towards the end of the week.
I also finished my spring clean out of all the junk I have accumulated over the years. It was very refreshing to get rid of all the stuff that I didn't need. I sorted out all my A-level notes for recycling, which for some reason I felt the need to hang on to just in case I needed them. I had bank statements for a few different banks going as far back as 1999!; and I got rid of all my skinny clothes which were about a size 6 and taken in by mother, hopefully that won't cause any trouble for the folks at the charity shop. I knew I wasn't going to be that small again but I loved wearing some of the clothes so just never threw them away. It was funny how going through my old clothes was like taking a trip down memory lane. I think I had five large bags full of clothes and another for handbags, seeing it all like that really hit-I do have a lot of clothes.
Also, I successfully completed my shoe challenge-hurrah!
Anyways, I really just wanted to update because in my two weeks of holiday so far I watched a fair few films.

Ok, unrelated to the films. But the last time I saw this advert I was overcome with uncontrollable laughter, despite the fact that it is far from funny. I just can't stop laughing everytime I see it now,"OR, as we say in español-¿donde?"-haha.

On Friday morning I had my last ever chemistry exam and went and treated myself to some Tropicana Smooth and some giant chocolate buttons-it was good. The rest of the chemists were sat around the piazza like hooligans drinking before it was even noon.
It was a bizzare day and in a way a bit of an anti-climax to letting my hair down and enjoying not having to do some revision. It wasn't a terrible day by any means, it just wasn't everything that we had built it up to be. This was mainly because the union was pretty dead, I'm not really sure where the time went though, we only danced to total of two songs.
Anyways, some stuff that did happen:

This was mainly because the union was pretty dead, I'm not really sure where the time went though, we only danced to total of two songs.
Anyways, some stuff that did happen:
- A trip to Gibbet Hill with Nicola to have a tour of that area.
- Standing around the piazza talking with the chemistry crew and randoms that walked past.
- Lunch at Varsity with Nicola, Tom, Rob and Raeeka. Tim turned up briefly and I just remember being on the phone to my brother and everyone (including myself) shouting "it's Tim!". Also, Rob poked my in the eye with a v-card; I was not happy.
- Seeing Nick on the bus and being told about his antics the night before, which included falling asleep on the bus home smelling of booze and cigarettes and getting off the bus at the Parish Church (that's about a mile after our stop).
- Going shopping with Nicola and Charlie; and hearing about Charlie's antics from the night before. That girl never fails to do something that others would consider outrageous.
- Adam, deciding that he wanted to wear my Rolling Stones tee that night, even though I had been wearing it that day.

- Adam running up to my room, wearing only my t-shirt and his boxers, saying "I don't know what trousers to wear!". I laughed at him and told him that he could have at least bought some up so that I could help him pick. We had a mini fashion show and he looked spiffing in the end.
- Adam and I making a video message for Jax. Which I have watched a few times now, and it's amusing watching your regular banter with someone else back, because well, you never get to see how your banter with someone else looks. Whilst, Adam and I were watching it back I said that it reminded me of watching some Burt and Ernie. I also never realised how much I giggle. People have said it often and I have accepted it, but never really realised that I actually just giggle at pretty much everything. I was particularly giggly then from Adam and I dancing around and getting ready to go out.
- Some drinkies with the chemists in various bars around Leamington.
- Helping some random pick up his money that he dropped as we were getting on the bus.

He was so incredibly grateful, it was funny-it was only 30p that I helped him find. We actually really randomly met again as we were walking towards the bus stop on the trip back, and random Chris thinks that we are bus buddies now and couldn't stop thanking me. - Running into Nicola as soon as we got in, and helping nurse at not so well Kat.
- Literally, as soon as that drama had ended for me we ran in to Giant boy and Nick as they were coming in.
- I received a fair few drunken, not so readible, text messages. But my favourite was from Helen saying:"Where are u? I'm lost! xx".
- A phone call from Helen saying "I'm in the toilets, can you come and get me?". She's such an emotional drunk-bless her.
- Learning about the fish from Tim, I felt it was pretty sad news.
- Helen losing her phone and a kind random finding it.
- Dancing to Tina Turner's 'Simply The Best' with Pete; and then being picked on for my old school music from him and Helen.
- Waving to Pete and then to Chip lots&lots with a drunken Helen on the bus.
- Helen waiting for the bus to get us back:"I didn't even get drunk tonight!". That was so far from the truth it was funny.

I'm excited!
This morning I was feeling rather drained. I popped along into town to get get some bits and pieces. I was sad in the heart when I realised that Tesco's didn't have any weetabix minis with the chocolate bits left-panic stricken I kept desperately looking but it wasn't meant to be and I then dragged my feet round Tesco's like I had lost the will to live and totally at a loss as to what to buy.
But, special thanks to the following for brightening up my day:
The Mother; who has e-mailed me at least 4 times today and in one of them said 'I am proud of you honey'.
Nicola; who went out of her regular routine and suggested that we meet today and thus made me take a mini break and gave me a much needed hug. I hope you enjoy watching Footloose!
Helen; who has called me many times and stopped me from going crazy in the coconut and for really calming me down when I spoke to her yesterday.
Jackie; who despite being so far away manages to put a smile on my face at just the right time, without me even telling her that I needed it-one mind! (haha)
Thank You!

Yesterday I hopped on a few trains to get to Leicester and my brother and I were left in my aunt&uncle's house on our own. It didn't take long for me to work out that a child's electric car (a toy belonging to the one year old of the house) does not have sufficient wattage to move a 21 year old female. But the bright light on the front was powerful enough to temporarily blind my brother. We raided the fridge and freezer and helped ourselves to some dinner and some ice cream. About 10 minutes after we finished eating, our Aunt&Uncle and two of our cousins came back and suggested ordering in some pizza. So, my brother and I felt obliged to eat again. The five of us (the little 'un was fast asleep, despite me trying to convince my aunt it would be fun to wake her up so I could say hi) stayed up talking till the wee hours. Which was in fun, but in retrospect rather foolish as we all knew that we had to get up rather early the following morning.
My Cousin Sonia to me:"You used to be a well fat baby!"
Ha! It's funny because it was so true.
Today, was the day of the shindig, in Loughborough, and it was actually quite fun in places and a smidge stressful at other times. There were so many people there (about 100) and so being part of the hosting family there was lots of preparation to do and clearing up afterwards which was the cause of any stresses of the day.
It was fun to catch up with some members of the family who I haven't seen for quite sometime. It was good to see my cousin, who is now sporting a small baby bump, and mockingly pat her on the head as she is very short (this is the cousin I went to New York with when I was in lower sixth). I managed to get my dad to do it too, and she hated it every time. She loves me really, and was happy to have received the postcard I sent her of Newcastle. Now that I have some dates of plans for July, myself and another cousin (her younger brother) explained that it would be great for the two of us if the baby were to come in the first two weeks of July to fit around us. She didn't seem to be having any of it.
Whilst at lunch, it was pretty busy and I was with my dad and we spotted some seats on the kids table so raised the average age over there ever so slightly and were soon joined by my brother and sister and few of our cousins. It was quite amusing, me and my dad being sat at the kids table before we joined by the other late teens/and early 20's kids.
Me:"Have you seen Mum? I haven't seen her for quite some time, when I think about it."
The Boy:"Actually, now that you mention it, neither have I."
Me:"Dad, have you seen your wifey about? I can't remember the last time I saw her."
Dad:"Nah, I think she's disowned me."
I soon spotted the mother she opted for the other age extreme for her choice of dining company, sitting with the grandparents and other rather old people.

I also ended up talking about some maths. And my cousin just said in amazement, "You actually love talking about this stuff! I can't believe you actually go and find this stuff out!", he soon disowned me, haha.
There was other amusement of random things for me, which I would actually love to sit and write most of them down so I can read back on them. But, I don't have any more energy.
Given that today's events had nothing whatsoever to do with me, I came back with quite a few presents. My grandparents gave me (and all the other grandkids), £50. Then when I saw my dad, he gave me £100! My mum and sister had packed a massive box of chocolates and biscuits for me to bring back, which I have started on. And, I got a real gold ring with three real diamonds on it. That was actually part of the wedding anniversary gift from my parents to my grandmother, but my grandmother wanted me to have it as an early inheritance gift, which did seem weird to me. She always thinks that she hasn't got long left, and well this way she got to give it me herself and see me wear it which made her happy.
And just the other week, I was just trying to convince my mum it was paper you give for a 60th wedding anniversary not diamonds. Ha!

Ha!

Monday; Nicola and I went for lunch as per, and had our weekly catch up on the sofa's at Viva. On this occassion we were both tired and a little under the weather but still managed to have a giggle about many a thing. And, later on in the day I had a regular check in with Helen about all things.
Tuesday; I hopped on a train back Northwards and surprised my parents by turning up on their door step. T'was so much fun to see their shocked faces, and nice to see them.
Wednesday; I went round to Jax's, where we enjoyed some microwave popcorn and watched Footloose. Dance Kevin, Dance! O, it was hilarious, it was so cringe worthy and painful to watch in parts-we loved it! There was also some fun watching vids on YouTube of 'Flight of the Conchords' and 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'. I also got my photo taken and placed on the Polaroid wall of fame-hurrah!
Thursday;I went shopping with Sara and had such a fun time. As soon as we got in the first shop, our faces just lit up with excitement, as we hadn't been shopping in so long. We really were like little kids in the sweet shop. We tried on various things that we had no intention of finally purchasing-just for funsies. T'was a successful trip though, with both of us buying things that we didn't need.
I also managed to get a lift home with my mum, which was highly entertaining. We listened to some Marc Bolan and had some banter with Eileen.
Eileen: "Turn left at the next junction."
Me: "WHAT?! Eileen's gone cuckoo!"
Mum: laughs "I think she has..."
Me: "Ahh, no, that's right. She's not crazy in the coconut after all."
Mum: "Eileen never lets us down."
Friday;I have successfully eaten half a tub of comfort food ice cream. But fear not, it's the good stuff as I am back home-Haagen Dazs.
This evening, I am going out to eat with my mother and sister which should be fun. I haven't seen much of Sam since I have been back.
I hope that the Jukebox kids have fun tonight. Hopefully, I will be able to come along next time.
Saturday; I am going to Tim's for tea.
Sunday; I return down Southwards and have a nice long train journey to look forward to.

This evening, I lit lots of candles and chilled out in my candle/fairy lights lit room. It was nice.
Part of me wants to read his letter again, but my eyes still feel all pouffy from last night.
Adam has just informed me that the flapjacks he has made are done, and are rather nice, and the cake should be done shortly. I should get downstairs before it all goes, and get some sugary fueled revision going on.

Last night was muchos fun! I had issues deciding what to wear, and Nick & Adam must have seen me wandering about the house in at least 3 different outfits before I settled-I don't remember ever being this indecisive with deciding what to wear.
Once the gang were round they helped finish off what was left of the big 'made to share' bag of crisps that I had munched my way through before they got here; and everyone read the strategically placed chemical formulae stuck up in my room.
Tim:"Ahh, there everywhere!"
We sat around listening to lots of old music in my room, and just now I found a sponge in my room and remembered that Nicola did, well a Nicola in my room before we left. Bless her.
I was telling the guys about my dream from the night before.
Me:"Well, you know how I have gap in between my front two teeth."
Tom:"Everyone does! Otherwise it would just be one tooth!"
We made our way in the freezing cold to the club of choice.
Me:"Ahh, I'm freezing, today was not the day to wear a mini skirt."
Nick:"I'm wearing trousers and it's still cold."
As we were going in I was telling Tom about how I had changed the battery in my iPod and the fiddling around I had with it. Once we got inside (which in the entrance is all mirrors and shiny white surfaces) Tom said, "it must be like being back inside your iPod", it was funny because it was so true.
When we got in I ran into Pete which was lovely. Pete's tall skinny friend was not impressed that we were talking about chemistry, ah well.
We hit the downstairs room and it was the little DJ I have had previous banterous conversation with. He was playing lots of 50's/soul/motown music, I was loving it. It was particularly funny as the first ten songs or so we had listened to in my room before we left and I had told Tom that Supercool was just like being in my room before we had headed out. However, my first request the DJ didn't have and he was genuinely gutted as it was a great song he said. He felt very bad about it and kept saying that he loved that song-you never know, next time maybes.
There was muchos dancing and Nicola and Tom couldn't believe that I knew the words to every old song that was played; and also that I recognised it within half a second of it being on. There were so many times when I would cheer at a song, and Tom was confused about what it was but then amused by my excitement. I also impressed Tom with knowing all the words to 'Jump Around', 'Rapper's Delight' and 'Killing In The Name' along with all the old music. I also loved Tom's enthusiastic dancing even when he doesn't have a clue what the song is. I'm not sure if he is just being polite because I clearly love it so much or if he is just drunk-it's hard to tell, he's a nice boy.
I got the following text message:
The music isn't as good, but we do have seats... I think we'll probably decide to go with one or the other of our choices, but the preferred option is the most likely outcome.
The walk back to the house was amusing. I was very hyper; very hyper. I was talking all sorts of rubbish to Thomas, about parallel and perpendicular streets and the hypotenuse of a triangle and the shortest path home. I then also kept saying random lyrics from 'Jump Around' and then explained to Tom why 0.9recurring equals 1 and I said Q.E.D lots. We walked back, going along streets that we had never walked along before and Tom climbed a tree on the way, and I strung lots of words together in a strong Geordie accent but didn't make any sense. We made a quick stop at the tree at the center of england. Once inside, I kept telling everyone to be quiet as Matt was asleep, but was incredibly loud in doing so. I almost fell of my chair, talked about Niles Crane before miming 'The More I See you' at Nicola with my twirling baton stick as a microphone-I don't know what got into me Nicola, but I hope that you enjoyed it.

On Friday afternoon, Nicola and I got the bus to Leamington-we were both rather tired and in need of a nap and highly amused when we realised that our coats made us look like Christmas sat next to each other. We popped into town and bought lots of cheap tacky accessories to wear to the rave that was happening in Charlie's basement that night. When we got back to the house at the centre of england, we had tea and biscuits whilst watching a few episodes of Flight of the Choncords which woke us both up. We were soon joined by Tim & Tom, we ordered some pizzas in and watched about 3 more before deciding that we should probably get ready to go to Charlie's.
We got all kitted out and made our way to the rave. Charlie's house is massive and the basement was all dark with UV lights and lots of rave'esque music being played. It was very impressive. Tim, Tom and I didn't have a clue what most of the music was. All, I know is that the same Britney Spears song was played about 5 times in the space of an hour, when some girls took over-and Tom and I were not amused on any of it's playings. There was much amusement about Charlie's fresher friend and a lot of random talk throughout the night. Nicola and I also drew on each other in UV pen, which we soon discovered was permanent UV marker pen- I was forever amused by the 'I ♥ TASH' on Nicola's forehead. After everyone had gone home, Nicola and I had a dance around taking over the music with some tunes of our own.
The four of us walked/skipped/ran and sang on the way back. Once safely inside, we ate some more and watched some more Flight of the Choncords till stupid o'clock. It was like a proper sleep over with Tom asleep in the corner. In the morning (when Tom was still asleep) we had a mini maths party followed by a chemistry and drawing party. Once Tom was awake we got breakfast and finished off the series of Flight of the Choncords as we only had a few left, so it would have been rude not to. That was about my fifth time of watching them all and I still love it!
( We took about 50 photos that night, most of which are on facebook but here are my favourites )

Yesterday, it was Rob's birthday and seeing as he had nothing planned to celebrate it, I invited myself and Nicola over to the boys house. We came equipped with party poppers, wearing party hats, holding a 'Happy Birthday' banner and with a small cake and candle that we could not light outside. The look on Rob's face when he came to the door was totally worth the phaffing around outside with everything (and not being too quiet).
We ate the cake, opened the presents and then I was overcome with a need to make a fort. So, Team Extreme got to work and we constructed 'Fort Gherkin Syzygy' and sat around in it all evening. It was a very fun evening.

Sometime last week, I went on an impromptu visit to Manchester for about half a week just to get away from it all. I have come back feeling a bit calmer and ready to get on with some work. Sure, everything that was bugging me before is still here right where I left it, but it was great just to escape for a bit and I had the most fun time and really didn't want to come back to reality. Hopefully, I will go back sometime later on this term, but my brother requests that he gets a minimum 24 hour notice in future, before I just turn up.
